Tool Introduction

The 3D Point Cloud Tool allows precise segmentation of points belonging to objects of a point cloud. This is done by using different selection methods for classifying points.

The platform has been built to support:

  • Sequential and non-sequential datasets

  • Interpolation of objects across frames in sequential data sets

  • Multiple selection tools for segmentation such as Cuboids, Polygons and Polyline

  • Creation of multiple instances for a given class. Eg. Car 1, Car 2, Car 3…

  • Linking of attributes for classified points

  • Reference image support for better object identification and understanding of orientation.

  • Drawing in 2D mode over the point cloud for faster and easier experiences
