Merged Point Cloud

When labeling a static object in 3D point cloud sequences, a single frame might not show the object in full detail. It can thus be difficult to assess the full dimensions of an object.

Toggle the Merged Point Cloud View

• Toggle the MPC switch on the header.

• All the frame points appear as per the world coordinates

Note: This feature is available for the cuboid drawable only.

How to use Merged Point Cloud (MPC) Feature

• Switch the MPC toggle on

• Identify the object which is static i.e. does not have a staggering affect

• Select the cuboid drawable from the Class List

• Create the annotation on the object

• • The cuboid is propagated across the sequence

  • The user identifies the frame where the object ceases to exist and removes the annotation from that frame onwards using the contextual menu Add/Delete Annotations
