Attributes

This section allows users to add image level and annotation level attributes

Attribute Type

  • Those attributes that are linked to one or more Classes defined. The linking of these attributes with their Classes takes place in the last tab (Associations/Relations). For example, Attribute ‘Headlight’ linked to Class ‘Car’.

  • By marking it as Global, the Attribute gets linked to all ClassesTask Level

Task Level

  • Attributes are associated at a frame level

Batch Level

  • Such attributes are defined against the entire sequence. Example of such attributes are weather Conditions, roadType, sceneDescription, etc.

UI Component

Boolean

  • The value of this attribute can either be true or false. When the default value is switched off the default value is false, otherwise the default value is true.

Inputbox

  • Type of input can either be

    • Integer

    • Number

    • String

    • Float

Multiselect

  • Value: Data that is written in the JSON output

  • Text: Data that is shown in the annotation tool

  • Abbreviation: Abbreviation shown on the annotation tool

Attribute Mode

Time Varying

  • Attribute value for an object being tracked can change frame to frame

Constant

  • The attribute value remains common across all frames. Any changes made on a different frame will override the values across all frames for that annotation.

Sensor Specific

  • This is a type of time varying attribute, value can change between sensors within the same frame

Others

Optional

  • Attribute input can be kept as mandatory or optional. If it is mandatory, the tool restricts the annotator from proceeding unless the value is entered.

Note: Click on ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom right for each attribute once details have been added/modified, before moving onto the next attribute.

Click on the next step/tab when done.
